Swing!!!

You see this hard working man? He is the father of a little girl named Caroline that has him totally wrapped around her finger. He was outside working all day on Caroline's birthday gift....a swing set. Yes, it was 105, no kidding, but that did not stop him. He has a red neck (and a swing set) to prove his devotion.

This swing set will eventually have a small play house that she will grow into, a slide, and a place for another swing. For now, it just has Caroline's baby swing, and she is one happy camper. Swinging is one of Caroline's favorite activities. The second she saw her swing hanging her face lit right up. It was priceless and as Justin put it, "worth every near heat stroke suffering, almost passing out moment."

Now, the not so good thing about this new swing in our backyard, is when it comes time to remove her. SHE IS NOT HAPPY. She will scream, sqiurm, and do everything in her power to get back into the swing. I brought her in, took her to her room to read and begin to wind down for bed, and she walked all the way back to the door and cried histerically as she stared at her beloved swing out the window. I will have to find an equally exciting activity to divert her attention with from now on.
