Party Time

Sunday, July 5th to be exact, was Caroline's first birthday party. I did a summer/daisy theme and everything turned out nicely.
The shirt I ordered did not come in, so I had to find something quickly. The halter tops from Children's Place matched perfectly and ended up looking very cute as well.
The cake was a total hit with Caroline. I am not surprised...she will eat anything!

She smiled while everyone sang Happy Birthday!

Caroline and Cru enjoyed the gifts as well as each other while I opened them all. At one point Caroline gave Cru a big bear hug! It was so cute, and I missed it with the camera. Hopefully someone has a shot. Caroline is quite the go getter!

Thanks for all the gifts. Caroline will love playing with them, and I can't wait to dress her in her new wardrobe!


The cakes and cookies were exactly what I had pictured. I could not have asked for anything more. A family friend, Megan did the cakes and daisy cookies, and a church friend, Betsy, did the flip flop, sun, sunglasses, and beach ball cookies.

So many friends and family came to share this special day with Caroline, and we are so grateful for them all. We are so thankful for all the loving thoughts and prayers that have surrounded our dear daughter in her first year. Thanks to all of you who helped celebrate and make Caroline's birthday party perfect. It meant the world to have everyone there!!
