After blogging about the 5 hour stretch of sleep, last night was the exact opposite. Caroline did not want to sleep. She was not mad or fussy, she just wanted to be up and looking around. Also, we are having issues getting her to sleep in her pack n play. She will fall fast asleep on us, but when we move her into her bed, she wakes right up and starts fussing. I asked the doctor about it today...worried that we might be spoiling her or causing this, and he assured us that they just prefer being held next to a warm body and familiar smell. Since we got no sleep last night Justin and Caroline took a nap after work. Check out the cute picture.
The doctors appointment went well today. He said she is thriving! She is now 8 lbs 3 0z, which is one oz above her birth weight so that is good. He also told us not to worry about waking her to eat. She will wake up when she is hungry. Also, she has been gagging on occasion when she spits up and it scares me to death. He did not seem to concerned. He just gave us some techniques to reduce reflux. We are so happy that we have a healthy baby. Thank you God for answering all of our prayers. We are so grateful.
Andrea Gilmore will be here tomorrow. We are excited that she gets to see her neice again.

glad to hear it went well. That is so great to get the go ahead to not have to wake her up anymore. Sleep with her on your chest all you want, it doesn't last long and although sweaty it is so sweet.
That is the best. Take advantage of all of the naps on the chest. It is not long before they are to big to do that. I almost blogged about Crus long sleep and it also changed the next night!

Okay Darlin if you don't mind could you send me a picture in the mail of Caroline Justin you, Aunt Andrea and yes i'm on y'alls website daily for updates and to see new pictures of Caroline, I want to see my niece soooo bad rather then just pictures of her but Darlin she's adorable soooo adorable........ I will e-mail Justin my address rather then putting it on this website for y'all to have.
