We have given Caroline a few sponge baths, but last night we gave her an official bath. It was not too easy and quite eventful. We had to drain the first bath water....I let you guess why. Caroline was not sure of what was going on, and she was a little fussy. However, I think she will eventually like her bath.
Here is a picture of our sleeping baby. She is so cute. Last night she slept 5 hours. I woke up after 3 and planned to wake her and feed her, but I fell back asleep. I cannot believe she kept sleeping. I had to wake her after 5 hours. I am a little worried that she is not eating enough during the night, but we go to the doctor tomorrow and I will ask. I have always been told never to wake a sleeping baby, but I figure she has to be hungry.

Yes, don't break the cardinal rule of never waking a sleeping baby! j/k. I know when they are so little and new, you want to make sure everything is okay, I was the exact same way! I say just consider yourself lucky and keep on snoozin! Yea for sleeping babies!!!
I love the sleeping picture! Hopefully your doctor tells you to let her sleep so you can get some good quality zzzs. 5 hours is a ton of sleep for this early on, that seems so great.

The sleeping picture is absolutely adorable! What an angel!! You have one precious beautiful baby.
I love her dearly and look forward to many years ahead of watching her grow.
Allison, she is so sweet!!! I absolutely can't wait to meet Caroline! I'm sure we will have lots of fun "mommy" stories to tell:) Oh, and Brooks cried through his sponge baths and his first real bath, but now he will sit and smile at me while kicking his legs around in the water. I guess it just takes some getting used to!
