Game Day

Saturday was Tech's last game of the regular season and it was played at Cowboy's Stadium. Justin, me and many friends packed up the truck and headed to tailgate in the early afternoon. Justin fried some chicken wings that were amazing and some fries to go with. The food was so good, Justin is getting really good at this deep frying business. (Just what our waist lines need.)
Grubbin' on some chicken wings.
My hubby and me in front of the space craft looking stadium.

Anyway tailgating was a blast, tons of Tech fans, many old friends, my entire family. a few cold drinks, and beautiful weather for the event. The afternoon brought back many fun college memories.

Andrea G. and meGrant and Tamara brought their sweet baby Trey for a little tailgating action.AC looking good in his red and black.Karley and me

I spent the majority of the game with my face buried in my hands. One thing I will never understand about Tech football is how we can push around and completely dominate an awesome defense like Oklahoma, but we can hardly move the ball against a struggling team. I guess that is why the game is played on the field... when you add in emotion, motivation, preparation you never know what is going to happen. Or maybe those fat little girlfriends got in the players heads again. Luckily we escaped with a win and the large Texas Tech crowd left relieved and happy. Game days make me wish I lived closer to Tech so that we could get out there more. As I have said before there is nothing like college football.
Lindsay, Karley, and me at the game. Go Tech!

Kyle and I watched it on TV wishing we were there! I was watching with total excitement and amazement the first half...Kyle was not so happy. Then things got back to normal and the Raiders offense showed up. It sure gave Kyle a good scare though :)

We wanted to go to the game too...but for the other team. That is where Toby and I met. Too bad we were in Cali...looks like a lot of fun.

Oh, and I only use the software that came with my camera to edit my pics...I want to get lightroom though. I hear it is awesome and easy to use.
