Happy Easter

We began our Easter festivities last week on Palm Sunday. We went to my parents' church egg hunt. Caroline was a bit afraid of the Easter bunny, so we took a family shot.

The Easter bunny might have been scary, but Caroline was sure intrigued by this turtle in the petting zoo.

Caroline was not too successful at the egg hunt, or as Justin said she was more interested in quality not quantity. Instead of racing from egg to egg, she would stop, open it up, and then decide if it was a keeper.

For lunch we went to Grammy's, or Justin's mom's house. All the family came over and Caroline had a big time with her cousins.

I tried to get a good picture of Caroline and Grammy, but Caroline is just not in a photographing age. The many faces of our girl.

Lunch was amazing and of course Caroline was spoiled by the Easter bunny(ies), AKA Grammy. Aunt Andrea, Carol, and Nana.

Caroline was much more successful at egg hunting today. Maybe she felt more comfortable with her cousins, or maybe she had some practice.

Later in the day, we went to my Aunt Carol's where she was spoiled even more! Here she is holding my mom's annual bunny cake. She forgot whiskers this year, but it was tasty as always.

By the time the day was done, Caroline's hair was dyed from the Crayola bubble shooter that Aunt Carol got her and was absolutely wiped out.

We had a happy Easter and we took time to be so thankful for all the blessings we have. Hope you felt the peace that this day brings my family and me.
