18 Months

Caroline loves her new hat and "socks" that go on her hands. She keeps her hat on inside as well.

Caroline is 18 months old!

And she is one funny chick. Caroline is really recognizing what is going on around her and plays to the "crowd." She is always looking for a Ring Around the Rosie partner, blows her nose and her babies noses, puts her babies to sleep with a goodnight kiss, says "bless you" when someone sneezes, tries to take Boomer outside and get him ready for a walk, and constantly does silly things to keep us laughing. I love this age!

She does try to push her will onto us at times, especially when she does not get the cup she wants, but after she flops down and cries for a bit she is usually ok.

I finally feel like Caroline's vocabulary is coming around. She still does not talk a lot, but she can identify most of her day to day objects when asked. She will also finish or fill in familiar phrases and songs. The past week or so, some new words have been creeping out when she is playing with her toys and around the house.
Caroline, you are one amazing girl and the light of our lives. Happy 18 months baby girl!
