Surprise!!

Last night Justin's mom, my mom, Andrea Gilmore, and me threw Justin a surprise 30th birthday for family and friends. Justin really had no idea, and was thrilled to see so many friends and family. Jonette, Justin's mom, and Rique hosted it at their home and did a great job with the decorations and brisket and sides. It really could not have looked nicer. Everything was thought out and organized. I loved all the pics of Justin growing up (good for a few awwws and laughs for sure)which were scattered about the party. My mom also helped with some food and drinks, and Andrea's best friend Megan did the cakes again. (She also did the cakes for Caroline's birthday)
It was nice to catch up with everyone and have a few hours of good company.
Thanks Rique and Jonette, we appreciate you opening your home for us to celebrate.
We brought Caroline since all of our babysitters were at the party. Of course, she had a blast and stayed up till about 9:30 which is way past her bedtime. She loved running with the big kids.
The night was perfect until we got home and watched the end of the Tech game. I am a poor sport (very bad quality), so I will just say I have a strong dislike for that Houston team. Yes, they are good, but we left a lot of points out there, and should have sealed the deal many times.

Justin, we all wish you a happy birthday. You are a great father, husband, son, brother, employee, friend, and the list goes on. You put you heart in everything you do and we all love you dearly. Enjoy your 30th year.

Justin is awesome, Houston "coogs" not so much. I'm peeved as well, I agree we should have locked it up many times and we were the better team and now we have an embarassing loss, I don't care that they are ranked, we still should have pulled it off. Whatever!

Fun stuff! Well, we were at the U of H game and you are correct... they are so mean... They cussed at us and threw beer at us and threw a football at Nick's head! I wanted them to lose for being so mean. I thought Nick might cry when we lost!!!
