8 things I'm looking forward to:
1. Being out for summer and not teaching summer school or doing anything but spending tons of time with my baby!
2. The river trip...which is next week.
3. Going to Mexico.
4. Having more time for myself and Caroline now that school is almost out and I am done with grad work.
5. Possibly changing grade levels next year.
6. Swimming at my parent's house this summer.
7. Caroline's first birthday.
8. Hanging out with friends (much more often) this summer.
8 things I did yesterday:
1. Met KDs for dinner at Uncle Julios....so much fun.
2. Tons of end of the year paper work.
3. Picked up my brother who is in town from Lubbock.
4. Had drinks with dinner which I have not done in ages.
5. Taught my students how to make a daisy with two paper plates.
6. Worked on a yearbook I am making for my students
7. Drove to Dallas with Justin so he could meet his friends as well.
8. Saw a bunch of Justin's old friends when I went back to pick him up after dinner.
Things I wish I could do:
1. Be the best mom, daughter, wife, sister, Christian, friend, teacher all the time. I feel guilty often because no matter what I am doing I feel like I am taking time away from something else that is important.
2. Cook every night.
3. Keep my house clean.
4. Be more creative and crafty.
5. Buy a lot and build a new house. (Maybe this will come eventually)
6. Help Justin finish his last test so he can become an "official architect."
7. Just do nothing more often.
8. Go on a huge shopping spree with an endless budget.
8 Shows I watch:
1. The Hills
2. Occassionally The Batchelor/Batchelorette. I am not watching this season...should I?
3. The Rangers, Cowboys, occassional Mavs, and Red Raiders.
4. News and news shows like Dateline, 20/20, Barbara Walter's interviews.
That is about it. I don't watch to much because then I feel like I have to keep up and it becomes a time commitment. I am currently reading a good book though. It is called Love the One You are With. It is by the same author as Something Borrowed and Something Blue.
