SICK!

There is no longer questions regarding whether Caroline was/is sick. We are BOTH sick. I feel like everyone I know has had this illness, and now it is just our turn. This is terrible. Last night after dinner I could not kick this yucky feeling. Well about 11:00 I began throwing up and had episodes all through the night. Then about 1:00 I look over to the monitor and Caroline is throwing up. Justin ran in there, and I followed behind but I was soon back out of there because I had my own problems. Sweet Justin washed her sheets, gave her pedialyte, changed her, and rocked her back to sleep. At that point I decided I better get a sub because Justin could not stay home two days in a row, and I clearly had the bug too. I am freaking out because TAKS is next week and I need every minute I can get with my students. However, Caroline definitely comes first.
Today I have really surprised myself. If you know anything about me, you know I am a huge baby about being sick and an even bigger baby about throwing up. Nonetheless, I realize I have to take care of Caroline. So although I look death, I am trying my hardest to continue to meet all of Caroline's needs. She is actually acting fine and is just playing on the carpet next to me. Hopefully, we are both on the upward swing. Now I just pray Justin does not get this nasty sickness.
