One month old!
So sleepy!
Enjoying my baby!Wow....I cannot believe it has been a month. It has flown by and I hardly remember what life was like without Caroline. Our love for our sweet baby grows each and every day. We have never known a love like we feel now. It is a new feeling that cannot be described in words. It is a beautiful feeling. We have been so blessed with a healthy, and happy baby. We appreciate all of our family and friends for all the help and support they have given us this first month. We would not have gotten through without them. We praise God for the love and joy Caroline has brought into our life. Every prayer has been answered. We now have so many hopes, dreams, and prayers for our Caroline. We pray that she grows up happy and healthy, and knows the good Lord.
Somethings we have learned this first month are...
We no longer can leave the house without packing up everything but the kitchen sink
It takes hours to plan for a short outing with the baby
We can no longer be selfish
There is no longer time for nice afternoon naps
We will not have a good nights sleep for some time
Never wake a sleeping baby
It is hard to get ourselves showered and dressed, the baby always comes first
Our worries have only begun
It is hard to feed ourselves, we usually take turns holding her while the other eats
Having a clean house is a thing of the past
Diapers are expensive
Parenthood is a lot harder than ever imagined, however it is so rewarding
Baby swings are incredible
Baby smiles can warm our hearts like nothing else (they practically bring tears to our eyes)
Being a mommy and a daddy is the greatest thing in the world!!!

congrats on making it one month! i think augie and i have experienced and completely understand/relate to every single thing that you wrote. we just did the take turns eating and holding the baby thing with kynli about 20 minutes ago!! super hard, but you said it...so rewarding!
Allison y'all are doing great and I'm enjoying Caroline's pictures all the time woo hoo a month omg where has the time gone!!!!!!!

You asked about Tiff - she is due at the end of next month! They are so excited! Baby girls are so fun to shop for, too!

It just amazes me reading all of the new mommy blogs about parenting. I don't know if I could do it! Ya'll are so in tune and so loving... it is just wonderful.
To many it seems things like floating the river and things like I do seem so fun, and they are, but the true special things in life are just being with your loved ones. You and Justin are so incredibly blessed!
Allison, Darlin if I lived closer I would love to see Caroline everyday or when ever I can even if I lived near you justin, I want you justin to know this no matter what happens in your life I'm always here for you justin caroline always,
Y'all will always have my love and support with whatever your life brings you justin, I'm glad you love my brother so much it's a blessing to see you justin as husband and wife you couldn't ask for more then what you have now. I'm proud to be your Sister in Law and proud to be justin's Sister.
But you justin remeber one thing I'm always here for your entire family no matter what life brings you. Call me anytime I love you all your all a blessing to my family.
