Last week was our annual Lubbock trip for the Texas Tech Spring game. Just like the majority of Tech fans, we are beyond thrilled with the changes and are so excited about the upcoming season. With Justin's little sister Michaela heading to Lubbock in the fall we were seriously considering season tickets, but thought better of it after wrangling Carter through the entire scrimmage. Maybe soon, but he is still just too little. Too much travel and too much work with a little one.
The weather was beautiful the game was fun. There were tons more people and not near the sales on merchandise which I was disappointed about. I guess with the renewed excitement there is no need to mark down clothing and other Tech paraphernalia.
This year we stayed near campus which was so much better. Our hotel had an indoor pool which the kids loved. Sunday, the kids and I flew home and Justin stayed out west for a couple of days to do business. He actually now has an office in Midland as well. He figured he needed something since he is out there so much.
All pics are straight out of the camera with no editing. I have little patience for all that these days. :-)
I had STAAR this week which was soooooooo stressful. Being in charge of everything is terrifying. One lost test or big mistake and I could have been FIRED. Talk about pressure and stress. I about cried when I turned everything in on Friday. I love the ladies at the central testing office and they could so tell I was going a bit nuts.
