After today I would say Tuesday was a warm up. This morning my mom, Caroline, and I went to Old Navy and all Caroline wanted to do was get out of her stroller and feed the mannequin dog the plastic bones. We could get her to the back of the store, but if we turned our back she was running back to the front to get the dog more toys. Really this wasn't too bad because Old Navy wasn't crowded and either my mom or me could chase her.
However, you know what broke loose when we tried to go to Gap and Victoria Secret. Of course in VS she got tired of the stroller, so since that was our last store I decided I would hold her. Well as we were walking out, I put her down and she pulled me over to where the escalator was. I didn't think this would be a big deal, but when I wouldn't let her go up the escalator she lost it. She was screaming, kicking, and all that so I just scooped her up and headed for our car(which was practically on the other side of the mall). I kept putting my hand over her mouth because she was so loud, and whispering to her Caroline is mad. My mom told me a security guard was eyeing me, but seriously, I was doing nothing but trying to quiet her down, I actually was very calm and laughing on the inside. Anyway, I am going to spend the next couple of weeks reading up so I know how to help my child avoid these types of frustrations and fits.

Let me know if you find any good tips. Molly is beginning to do the same thing...no kicking yet but we are well on our way. She can let out a pretty good scream when she doesn't get what she wants.
Hi, I found your blog through Wendy Q's. Caroline is a doll! I have a little girl one day younger than Caroline. I'd love to hear any tips you find. We are coming into the go limp, fall on the floor, cry and scream when you don't get what you want stage too!
