Easter Extravaganza

Sunday was a busy day full of Easter festivities. We joined my parents at their church for an egg hunt, then later in the day we headed to Mansfield for the hunt that our church hosted.
I was surprised at how well Caroline did with the eggs. She didn't realize the urgency she needed to be hunting with, but overall did a good job of collecting eggs. She even took an egg and placed it into a baby's basket. She loves babies and is always looking out for the little ones, since she is so big and all.

So excited, so many eggs, so much fun.
The Easter egg hunt at my mom's church had a bounce house, petting zoo, crafts, and a cook out. Here is a picture of the cutest little piglet. We all know Caroline loves animals so I will spare the pictures of her hugging the goat or chasing the rabbit.

Gathering more eggs.
And she's off...to see the Easter Bunny.
Caroline with the Easter bunny. She wasn't so sure at first, but after observing for a bit, she sat next to him briefly.
Getting a good look before she ran off.

Later in the afternoon Grammy, Granny, and our family went to Rose Park for our church's egg hunt. She loved the playground equipment, including the huge slide that had the potential to catapult her across the park. Luckily Justin's arms kept that from happening time time again.

She also loved running up and down the ramp. And running anywhere and everywhere, she really never stops going!
Finally, it was time to pack up and head home to rest after a great day. Caroline looks quite proud of her eggs!

Beautiful pictures and dress. We need to figure out what the girls should wear to Dallas blooms. Easter dresses or something a little more casual???

Caroline got a lot closer to the Easter bunny than Kynli did!! She was perfectly fine looking at him from a distance (behind a little fence), and actually liked him from a distance, but she did NOT want to get close to him, even with me holding her. So sad that I won't have a picture from this year :( Caroline is just adorable!
