Learning Everyday

It is amazing how fast kids learn. It is also amazing how similar kids are around the same age. I can almost pick out kids who are Caroline's age by just listening to the sounds they make and watching their behaviors. Caroline's vocabulary is developing. She now says dog, shoe, and book, and just today milk...at least the beginning sounds. (dahhh, shhh, buuuh, muh) She also knows what the word swing means so we have to be careful with what we say if we do not want to take her out at that moment. If I say hugs or say "awww" she will come and hug me and make an "awww" sound herself. She will occasionally give open mouth kisses when asked and then make the noise after the kiss. Toddlers are fun and cute. Although she keeps me on my toes, I am loving this stage so much! All this fun stuff is making me NOT want to go back to work on Monday. I am getting really sad.
