Sunday we had a family outing to Lake Bridgeport for my aunt Carol's birthday. Caroline loves the boat, tolerates her life jacket exceedingly well, and enjoys and takes in all the new scenery so I was not too hesitant about taking her. I am extra careful and she is content to just sit on people's laps so it is not too stressful for this worry wart mom.I love the lake, and so does most of my family so we all had a great time. We had a fun picnic at this perfect park and boated the morning away.
Too bad the next time we will be boating, will probably be next summer since I go to work next week.

Justin could not make the lake because he had to work all weekend. We have had a very busy past couple of days. Friday we went to Houston to celebrate Justin's dad Mike's birthday. We had a blast and it was fun seeing them. We didn't even stay 24 hours so it was a quick trip. Saturday morning Justin flew to Lubbock and I drove back for Jackson's party. Justin then flew back in for the night, and back out the next morning to Midland. He spent today in Sanderson, Texas. He is one crazy busy working man!

I love the lake and haven't been out on a boat in ages. Ever since my dad donated our P.O.S boat to the boy scouts. Maybe your dad will feel extra generous and take us out next summer since this summer is almost done.
Poor Justin... he really is working a lot!
