Seven Months

 This little boy is 7 months old today!!!  He's actually a BIG boy, however I feel his growing has slowed down a bit. I bet he weighs close to 19 pounds, not much different from last month. He is in size 3 diapers and wears anywhere from 6 month clothing to 12 month clothing. I am buying all 12 month at this point.

Carter is quite the love bug and loves attention from anyone and everyone.  Lately he's really into biting noses and chins.  He sits well, rolls like crazy, and has been getting on all fours.  I think he might be like his sister and move around early and well.  Uh oh, not sure I am ready for a mobile baby!! At seven months he is sleeping like  a champ, usually down by 7:30 and awaking about 6:30.  Now if we could get naps down, that would be great.

Carter enjoys eating his solid food, just recently we've begun feeding him three meals with BM bottles or nursing in between. He enjoys cereal, oatmeal, avocados, strawberries, bananas, yogurt, sweet potatoes, and all sorts of weird combinations we've been buying. I've gotten lazy with making his food....it's just so easy to buy, but those pouches are really expensive.
Caroline has really begun to interact with Carter. She wants to carry him around, so we have to keep an eye on that. She loves reading to him, dancing for him, playing with him, entertaining him while I'm getting ready, and sitting him back up when he falls over. She mimics everything Justin and I do for Carter. She has always been a Mother Hen and is continuing that trend with her brother. She'll make a fabulous mom someday!!

Carter is fascinated with Boomer and watches his every move.  Boomer is not so sure about his little buddy, but he'll soon learn all the fun he can have with Carter.
These past seven months have absolutely flown by....I'm hoping these upcoming summer months creep by so I can soak in this baby stage as much as possible. I love this boy so much!
