Most recently, I had told Justin that I wanted to do nothing but sleep and take it easy for my 30th, and I was serious. Justin had something else up his sleeve.
The plan for my big day (or so I thought) included some of my favorites... breakfast with the Walkers, Winstar with my mom, (Yes, I do have a bit of a gambling bone in my body, and I hardly ever do it, so Winstar sounded fun and different.) some shopping, a nice early dinner, and a night of uninterrupted sleep with the kids at the grandparents. The schedule for the day was a bit full for my liking, but since I'm back at work I had to compact all the little things I wanted to do into one day.
The day was great, breakfast was good, Winstar was fun, and Justin even booked me a pedicure at the spa for the late afternoon. After the pedicure my mom and I headed home in the pouring rain, and by that point I was ready to slip into PJs and get Justin to bring home take out while my mom and Justin's mom kept the kids for the night. I noticed Justin was calling frequently on the way back from Winstar, but I figured he was just checking on us since the weather was so bad.
We finally got to the house around 7 and I noticed lots of cars, but thought nothing of it because Justin had informed me the neighbors were having a party. When we pulled in the drive it was pouring so I called Justin to let me in the garage, he refused saying his hands were full. Of course I began griping to my mom about that, but she got out and darted to the front door so I figured I had no other choice. As I ran toward the door and was about to barge in, I notice tons of familiar faces. SURPRISE!!!
Oh my, honestly I had NO IDEA. At that point I could have killed Justin because I don't like surprises, but looking around and seeing how much thought and work he put into the night made me want to melt and kiss his face. He truly is the most caring thoughtful person I know, and I love him so!
He planned and did almost everything; from the theme, to the casino tables, decorations, food, drinks, invitations, spa reservations so I would not come home too early! It was amazing. He got Paige to help him with the cake and she did fabulous, and his mom helped with the kids while Justin prepared the house.

Here we are shortly after my arrival. Had I known, I would have dressed up a little more and done different makeup, but that's how surprises go. I'm just thankful I put on makeup that day! Thanks to everyone who came and made my 30th so special, I was surrounded by those I hold most dear and nothing is better than that. Love you all!
Here are some pics from the night!
