Guitar strumming and singing is a nightly ritual around here. Lately, Caroline has added her talent to the nightly show. She dances and jumps around the entire time Justin is jamming. She will even pull Justin in the front room if she is ready for some dancing. In this video she is dancing to some college days Cory Morrow. Way back,I guess around nine years ago now, our second date was a Cory Morrow concert. I'm not sure the lyrics are exactly appropriate, but I'm guessing we don't have to worry about cigarettes and booze with her for a while.
Onto other news, my best friend Paige recently came over to snap some family pics as well as a few shots of Caroline in hopes for a perfect one. Paige is very talented and starting a business, check her out!!! Her work is stunning!

Work has been great, I love my students and all the ladies I work with. What's really neat about this year, is this will be the fourth year I have taught some of my sixth graders. I literally feel like a second mom to some of these kids. I taught a handful in first, third, fifth, and now sixth grade. I love them like my own and it's not going to be easy to say goodbye come June.
Yesterday, I was grumbling through my day, sorting through all our new curriculum, completely consumed with ESL paperwork, and just feeling downright overwhelmed and tired. During keyboarding I took a minute and clicked over to CNN. This article stared me down. I clicked, I read, and was instantly changed. Suddenly all the things I felt trapped under became blessings. It's amazing how perspective can change in an instant.
