The fact that I am a mom to two seems crazy.
I'm turning 30 in less than 2 weeks...that's crazy.
The fact that I am getting little sleep is making me crazy.
Thinking of returning to work Monday is giving me the crazies.
Tomorrow I will have around 20 people over here for Thanksgiving...Crazy.
You probably get the point, but right now I feel like a crazy person. Between parenting, trying to be a good wife, keeping the house straight, preparing to return to work, running errands, and just fulfilling life's demands, my head is spinning. I'm sure if my hormones were a bit more in check, life would seem dandy, but boy this second pregnancy took a toll on those.
I do know one thing for sure though, I've been blessed and I'm crazy thankful for the life I've been given.

Big yawns for this little man...wish I'd see more of those come the late evening hours. No, really it's not that bad, he is a really good baby, he just wants to party come about 10:00.

Oh, I don't think I've shared that Carter has begun smiling. It started close to 5 weeks, but this week has become more frequent. I get to see his sweet gummy smile a couple times a day now, it's the best feeling and makes every stress I feel melt away. LOVE IT!
On a completely different note, this past weekend was basically our only open weekend from now until Christmas so we decided to decorate. Here is my enormous Griswald tree. Pictures don't really do it justice...it's huge! This was mid decorations....I need to take a new picture, it now looks more complete.
Ok, I'm off...I have an upset baby and a house to vacuum. Life might be crazy, but it is so good. Happy Thanksgiving!

LOVE the tree! So beautiful. I hope your life is a little less crazy or can at least slow down a bit!
I remember the craziness! It does get better, but some days are still crazy! I am with you- we have a lot to be thankful for, but life is busy busy! I saw a sign the other day that summed it up and I think about it often- "My plate is full but my cup runneth over". Loved that!
