Checking In

I feel like I've been absent from my blog for ages. For someone who used to document every waking moment, I've really fallen behind. It's probably because not much has been happening, but I suppose that is a good thing as we really enjoy our everyday life.

Caroline is as busy as ever. This somewhat blurry photo documents her level of action on any given day. Nothing is better to her than running, jumping, swinging, and playing. She is one tough cookie to photograph. Yesterday, Justin and Caroline got out to do a bit of yard work. Caroline is such a great helper. I am pretty sure, along with the weeds, that she pulled up a few flower bulbs. Justin tried to replant them, I guess we'll see if they grow. Speaking of Justin, he's been down with the flu for the past few days. Yesterday afternoon was the first time he began getting up and moving around. Luckily, Caroline and I got the flu shot so hopefully we are protected. Boomer did give us some action earlier in the week, when he got himself sprayed by a skunk. All of a sudden, Thursday morning I could smell a strong stench of skunk in my bathroom. Well, my bathroom backs up to our porch where we believe Boomer was sprayed. We kept him outside, but by the time I returned home from work Thursday the smell had taken over the house. Yucko! Boomer got a tomato juice bath and has not been allowed in since the incident. I'm pretty sure he thinks he's been neglected. Well I guess that's about it. Oh, and I finally got a clear picture of Caroline. Maybe the trick is catching her at dinner, another one of her favorite activities. Maybe next time she will smile! Have a great week!
