Random Ramblings

Ahhhh spring time is here!! I love it. Everyday after school my brother Mark, Caroline, Boomer, and I take a 3 mile walk around the neighborhood. I enjoy it and look forward to it daily. It's things like this I'm going to miss when Justin and I move into our new home.

On Easter Sunday I snapped a few pictures of my cousin Chris and his finance Macy for some casual engagement pictures. They met at Tech, but now live in Miami for Chris' job.
Above are a few favorites, I think they turned out pretty good. I really love taking pictures, and I love taking pictures for friends and family. Ever since I got my camera last year I have researched and read online photography lessons to really get an idea of what I'm doing. I now realize there is so much to learn and many things go into capturing a perfect picture. While I'm no professional and I usually throw away over half of my shots, it is fun for me and has become a hobby. I would really love to upgrade my camera, but that will come with time...and money.

Caroline, as sweet and as loving as she can be, has gotten incredibly strong willed and has been throwing temper tantrums much more frequently. They basically happens when she does not get something she wants or is frustrated with a situation. We've been using time out as a punishment and she does understand that she does NOT want to sit in time out. Caroline's vocabulary is still developing and while she still does not talk a lot she learns and uses new words and phrases frequently. While I used to fret over when she will identify shapes, colors, and different objects, I have become more laid back. I know that will all come in time.

My sister passed on Dear John, and after Abby telling me how much she enjoyed it I began reading it. I cannot put it down, Nicholas Sparks describes love in the best way and it gives the reader that first love giddy feeling. I haven't seen the movie and don't know if I will.

Your photos look great!! I have been taking online photo classes too and I research daily! I am having so much fun but still have sooooo much more to learn. It is amazing how my eye has changed too and I now know somewhat of what to look for in photos. :)

Your such an inspiration!!

Great photos!

I completely understand how you feel about the tantrums. Molly's are increasing daily. I hate it that she can't speak enough yet to communicate better with me!

Look at you taking pictures!! They look great! Ryan kind of messed up our camera (we have a Nikon dx40) by changing a bunch of settings and now I can't get it back to "normal"- I might need to call you!!

Your are SO good at taking photos!!! I really need to learn. And everytime I read your blog I am suprised at how much alike our kiddos are! Cru has been throwing awful tantrums lately when he does not get what he wants! I am sorry you have to deal with this too...but I am SO glad I am not the only one:)
