- We have been happily married for 7 years. We welcomed a bouncing, adorable, happy girl into our lives on July 8th, 2008. Her name is Caroline, and she fills our lives with abundant joy. We recently welcomed Carter Mason into our lives on October 11, 2011. He is a precious sweet baby, and I feel so grateful for two healthy children. We also have a big yellow dog named Boomer who makes us laugh and keeps us on our toes. We love our families and friends and all the support they give us. We are so thankful for all the blessings God has given us.

Cute pictures... she's getting so big!
But quick question: What was your F-stop set on for these pictures? It looks like the tree is in a little bit better focus than Caroline. In order to focus her face the sharpest, (1) keep her in the center of your viewfinder, (2) bump up your F-stop a little more or (3) change your point of focus (which I've never done, but I did read this: http://thepioneerwoman.com/photography/2009/04/focus-point/).
I feel you on the learning process... I still have problems with lighting (things coming out too dark or too bright). But it's turning into a fun hobby!
