Our baby has been rolling over occasionally for a few weeks, but now she has started doing it all the time. She is very proud and excited about this new trick she can do. When I lay her down on her play mat, she immediately lifts her legs and rolls right over. The problem is that she does not like to be on her tummy. The minute she lands on her tummy she begins to fuss. (we are working on tummy time) She has not mastered rolling from her tummy to her back so she just gets frustrated and mad. Today during our play time she probably rolled over about 5 times in such a short time. Finally I gave up and put her in her bumbo and just talked to her.
Tonight when Justin put Caroline to bed she began rolling over as well. We have been swaddling her but that is going to have to stop. She is rolling over in her swaddle and that is not safe considering her arms are not out to push her head and chest up when she lands on her stomach. So tonight she is in her pajamas and in her bed. Justin finally got her tired enough and put her down on her back. She has now slept for about 1 hour without rolling over. Hopefully this continues because going back and forth to her room all night will be super tiring.

Hey there, Ya'll are doing great being fristtime parents. I can't wait to see my baby niece in about a week, I love the picture of Caroline in her holloween costume that's so darling. I would love to see Caroline in a tech outfit or her holloween costume........ when I meet her in person,
Aunt, Nicole
LOL, I remember going through that with Collin! He was right about 14 weeks old when we stopped swaddling for good... I think that is similar to Caroline's age right now? Isn't it crazy how fast they grow up... (that you are already having to stop swaddling her?!?) WOW! Before you know it, she'll be driving your car! YAY Caroline for perfecting your rolling skills! :o)
Blake was so lazy and never rolled much in her crib even after she mastered the roll. You have an active little one!
Claire hated tummy time until about 4 months...and then something clicked and she loved it...so hang in there with the tummy time!
Oh man, I feel your pain. Cru does the same thing except it is from his tummy to his back. He likes to sleep on his tummy and when he rolls onto his back he starts screaming (not crying, just screaming). He knows how to roll back to his tummy but I guess he is just to sleepy at night, so I have to go into his room like once a night to roll him back over. They say not to do that but there is only so much I screaming I can handle at 3am
